Factory Reset Protection (FRP) is an automated Android security feature. It activates when a Google Account is registered on a device. If the phone is hard reset via recovery mode without removing the account first, FRP locks the device upon reboot. During an FRP state, the default user interface is completely locked down, but the background architecture remains functional. If a technician uses an exploit (like precise button gestures or PC-based tools) to force-open a browser stub, they can click specific intent hyperlinks to escape the browser sandbox and launch hidden system screens.
